You probably missed it in the rush of news recently, but there was a report that a Pakistani newspaper had published someone's offer of a reward to anyone who killed an American, any American.

So I just thought I would write to let them know what an American is, so they will know when they find one.

An American is English…or French, or Italian, Irish, German, Spanish, Polish, Russian or Greek. An American may also be African, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Australian, Iranian, Asian, or Arab, or Pakistani, or Afghan.

An American is Christian, or Jewish, or Buddhist, or Muslim. In fact, there are more Muslims in America than in Afghanistan. The only difference is that in America they are free to worship as they choose.

An American is also free to believe in no religion. For that he will answer only to God, not to the government, or to armed thugs claiming to speak for God or the government.

An American is from the most prosperous land in the history of the world. The root of that prosperity can be found in the Declaration of Independence, which recognizes the God-given right of each man and woman to the pursuit of happiness.

An American is generous. Americans have helped friend and foe in their time of need. When Afghanistan was overrun by the Soviet army 20 years ago, Americans came with arms and supplies to enable the people to win back their country. As of the morning of September 11, Americans were giving more than any other nation to the poor in Afghanistan.

An American does not have to obey the mad ravings of ignorant, ungodly, cruel, old men. American men will not be fooled into giving their lives to kill innocent people, so that foolish old men may stay in power. American women are free to show their beautiful faces to the world or not, as they choose.

An American is free to criticize his government's officials when they are wrong. Then he is free to replace them, by majority vote.

Liberals have enjoyed the convenience of calling for shifting American troops out of Iraq and into Afghanistan, where terrorist action was much less until recent dates. That stance has been a good way to camouflage defeatist appeasement with a phony national- security firmness.

The Associated Press, for example, quotes socialist candidate Ned Lamont as saying in New Haven that,

 "We have sacrificed our daughters and sons and our treasure in a war we didn’t have to fight ….. We have ignored the real threats and security needs in the war we should be fighting, the one against the terrorists. …

Senator Lieberman believes that President Bush has it right in Iraq.

I believe that he’s dangerously wrong….. Today we have five times as many troops in Iraq as we have in Afghanistan," [Lamont] said. "We spend more in a month in Iraq than we do in a year in Afghanistan. These decisions are wrong and they have left us less safe."

Evidently the "fight against the terrorists" boils down to nothing more than having troops in Afghanistan instead of Iraq, because liberals oppose all measures to combat terrorism through CIA, NSA, and FBI surveillance and interrogation.

Another possibility is that the liberals want to make their version of the "fight against the terrorists" into a way for tort-bar lawyers to replace revenues lost from the Federal clamp-down on fraudulent securities and asbestos litigation. That’s vital, of course, as the tort bar, along with socialist teachers’ unions, are the big money sources for liberal political campaigns.

Liberals have long insisted that combatting terrorism be simply an extension of after-the-fact criminal prosecution, rather than truly effective preventive action. What a delicious prospect for liberal candidates and their tort-bar henchmen: years of litigation, funded by Amnesty International, to represent terrorist prisoners who have been deprived of their 14th Amendment rights!

Mr. Lamont and his fellow socialist candidates have endlessly cudgeled President Bush for fomenting terrorism by our presence in Iraq, while failing to pour troops into Afghanistan to capture Osama Bin Ladin. Among other inconsistencies, that "plan" requires ignoring the probability that Bin Ladin is in neighboring Pakistan, where officials have flatly refused to permit U.S. troops to operate.

Now, with strikingly bad timing, terrorism has re-heated with a bang in Afghanistan and is blowing the socialists’ cover. Moving troops from Iraq to Afghanistan is, at the moment, merely a matter of which frying pan to use.

America, take note before it’s too late!

It has been said, “Those who ignore the lessons of history are bound to repeat them.” Another famous quote says, “History repeats itself.” The moral is that people often have short memories. Whether we observe bad things happening to other nations or experience such ourselves we seldom learn the needed lessons. As time passes, all is forgotten and the same mistakes are repeated, over and over again.

When the topic of the serious ramifications of the Islamic invasion of America comes up, few people register sufficient concern. They underestimate the potential threat because they view the USA’s current Muslim population of 1%-2% as insignificant. The danger is that, like some Europeans nations, we will wait till the percentage figures doubles, triples or even quadruple before it dawns on us that we have a problem. Our government and our entire population would be wise to look, listen and learn from what countries in Europe are suffering as the result of unchecked Islamic population growth. If we don’t heed the warnings that their problems represent, we will be sentenced to duplicating them.

There are many similarities between life in America and that in the Christian countries of Europe. The difference is the homelands of Muslims are much closer geographically to Europe and therefore the immigration invasions began much earlier. The Muslim population of Europe is now estimated to be around twenty million strong. That represents about 5% of Western Europe’s total inhabitants. France’s Islamic population presently ranks as the highest as it has raced to about 10%. The price tag for naively permitting that degree of growth has proven to have dire consequences.

QUEST FOR DOMINION

Naive and goodhearted Americans often complain and cite various reasons for rejecting any suggestion that the growth of Islam should be a point of concern. They figure, why criticize other religions? Why can’t we all just live and let live? Surely, civilized societies should pride themselves on tolerance towards those of other beliefs and grant freedom of religion to all citizens. No one should care about how or what others worship, as long as they worship peacefully. Another test is whether or not a religion infringes on the rights of others. Islam misses on both counts. It’s not peaceful because at various junctures it infringes on the rights of others to worship as they choose. Once it gains dominance, it is totally intolerant of other religions.

Such concerns might be invalid if they pertained to adherents of most any world religion, other than Islam. The thing that makes Islam different is the fact that it is more than a religion. Islam is a political, social, and economic way of life, cloaked in religious garments. Islam’s strict observances and regulations are imposed on all Muslims and affect every area of their lives. These shape their attitudes and responses towards those of other religions. Full compliance brings the promises of rewards in this life and in the hereafter. Noncompliance dictates harsh punishments both here and in eternity. As a result many Muslims are willing to kill and to die for the cause of religious fervor. These factors, combined with Islam’s inherent tendency to violence, make it difficult for it to co-exist in society with other religions.

Islam is never satisfied to be one religion among many. It has to be supreme; the one and only. “the (only) religion (acceptable) before God is Islam.” Surah 3:19 Within Islam, freedom of religion is never an option. Allah says, “If anyone desires a religion other than Islam, never will it be accepted of him.” Surah 3: 85

Domination is the name of the game. Islam’s objective is to obtain influence superior to that of all other religious groups. Its long-term agenda inevitably includes complete dominion over a nation. In free societies, as in America, they make no effort to hide such agendas. Omar M. Ahmed, chairman of the board of CAIR (Council on American- Islamic Relations) said once at a banquet, “I urge Muslims not to shirk their duty of sharing the Islamic faith with those who are on the wrong side.” He added, “If you choose to live here, you have a responsibility to deliver the message of Islam. Islam isn’t here to be equal to any other faith but to become dominant.”

The plan for the conquest and domination of Europe has been at work for some time. Giueppe Bernardini, the 72 year old Italian Archbishop of the archdiocese of Izmir, Turkey, said something startling. “The dominion has already begun with the petrodollars, used not to create work in the poor North African or Middle Eastern countries, but to build mosques and cultural centers in Christian countries with Islamic immigration, including Rome, the center of Christianity.”

Perhaps, there might be some European Muslims who are simply satisfied to enjoy the prosperity afforded them in their adopted countries and therefore don’t mind accepting the status quo. However, there is a host of others who strive to see the traditionally Christian societies that welcomed them conform to the rigorous demands of Islamic society. The result is that Europe is undergoing a gradual transformation into a society in which Islam is not just equal to other faiths; it is the dominant player. This may not even be merely dependent upon increasing numerical strength. It may be solely driven by Islamist’s innate desire to control societies. It is a strategy of Islamic leaders that is carefully thought out and concisely executed.

THE ISLAMIC INVASION OF EUROPE

Muslim Arabs were invited to Europe from Africa and Asia in the 1950’s and 1960’s to meet the labor shortages of Western Europe’s booming postwar economies. Subsequently, Muslim refugees seeking political asylum to better their lives drastically increased those numbers. The trend continued into the 1970’s. The waves of Muslim immigrating from North Africa and the Middle East began to change the demographics of Europe. Muslim birthrates soared. According to U.N. statistics, the Islamic population of Europe doubled between 1989 and 1998, representing approximately 2% of the population. That number had again more than doubled by 2005, representing about 5% of all Europeans.

Battle Rages Over 'Under God' in Pledge of Allegiance
Becket Fund Files Reply Brief as Next Stage in Pledge Battle Begins

WASHINGTON, Sept. 5 /Christian Newswire/ — With children across the country returning to school this month, the legal battle continues to rage over how long they will be able to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance and honor their flag—a 50-year tradition of patriotic expression.

After the Supreme Court stopped the first round of his crusade to have the Pledge declared unconstitutional because it contains the words “under God”, avowed atheist Michael Newdow filed a new lawsuit in Sacramento federal court. And last November, U.S. District Court Judge Lawrence Karlton agreed with him, ruling that teachers in a Sacramento-area public school district could no longer lead schoolchildren in saying the Pledge of Allegiance every morning.

The Becket Fund for Religious Liberty, a public interest law firm that represents the Knights of Columbus as well as students and parents in California who want to keep saying the Pledge, will file a reply brief today in the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco. The appeal is Newdow v. Carey, No. 05-17257.

“For more than 50 years the Pledge has included two words that sum up the most basic element of our nation’s political philosophy: we are a free people because our rights come from a source that is higher than the State, and to which the State is ultimately accountable. In short, we are one nation ‘under God,’” said Kevin (Seamus) Hasson, president and founder of The Becket Fund.

"Saying under God in the pledge is like Jefferson saying ‘endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights,’ in the Declaration of Independence. And reciting the Declaration of Independence cannot violate the constitution," Hasson said.

The Knights of Columbus first added the words to the Pledge in 1951 and petitioned Congress and President Dwight Eisenhower to add “under God” to the official version of the Pledge. The new version was formally adopted in 1954 and schoolchildren and civic-minded citizens have been reciting it that way ever since.

The Ninth Circuit, which held the Pledge unconstitutional in 2002, is expected to hear arguments sometime in early 2007. After that the case is expected to be appealed to the Supreme Court.

The problems with our unprotected borders will eventually cause the United States serious harm. And the government could be blamed for its inaction in securing the borders.

The Northeast Intelligence Network and other websites are reporting the recent number of growing threats of violence being made by the Al Qaeda against the Untied States.

…ACCORDING TO AL QAEDA COMMANDER

Most of our brothers are living in Western countries, with Jewish and Christian names, with passports of Western countries. Some of the signs Abu Dawood has be giving Muslims in the United States if the impending American Hiroshima are:

• Muslims living in the United States should leave the country without further warning.
• The attack will be commandeered by Adnan el Shukrijumah (“Jaffer Tayyer” or “Jafer the Pilot”), a naturalized American citizen, who was raised in Brooklyn and educated in southern Florida.
• The al Qaeda operatives who will launch this attack are awaiting final orders. They remain in place in cities throughout the country. Many are masquerading as Christians and have adopted Christian names.
• Al Qaeda and the Taliban will also launch a major strike (known as the “Badar offensive” against the coalition forces in Afghanistan during the holy month of Ramadan.
• The American people will be treated to a final audio message from Osama bin Laden which will be aired within the next two weeks.

Let us pray these threats are groundless or if they are true, that they can be stopped.

An example of this bewilderment is liberal columnist Froma Harrop's current piece titled Islamic Terror's Endless 'Root Causes'. She writes:

"That Islamic terrorists hate the United States is an all-purpose explanation. Dig deeper into the reasons for that hatred, though, and the confident answers of "expert opinion" don't quite satisfy.

"Since that gruesome blue-sky day, Islamic radicals have staged more attacks and have been foiled in others. But try to find a connecting theme, other than psychosis. There's only a pile of shifting motives."

Why not believe what the terrorists themselves tell us is their reason for 9/11 and similar attacks around the world?

Osama Bin Ladin has proclaimed unequivocally, many times, that Al Queda envision themselves as reviving the campaign begun by Mohammed in 622 AD to establish a universal Islamic Caliphate and carried on ruthlessly for a thousand years thereafter.

In 622 AD the Mediterranean basin political states were almost all Christian. Mohammed's Islamic military forces began systematically conquering, looting, and subjugating those states to Islam. The men resisting Islam were slaughtered and the women and children sold into slavery.

In addition to acquisitive instincts for other people's property, Muslims were driven by Allah's command in the Koran to convert everyone, everywhere to Islam, a name that in English means submission.

Efraim Karsh, in his April, 2006, article in Commentary noted:

"As the 14th-century historian and philosopher Abdel Rahman ibn Khaldun wrote, "In the Muslim community, the jihad is a religious duty because of the universalism of the Islamic mission and the obligation [to convert] everybody to Islam either by persuasion or by force."

The United States is experiencing increasing crime waves by illegal aliens. And gang rapes is the number one crime on the list.

Activists and social scientists interviewed by WND say such crimes – gang rapes by illegal aliens – are sweeping the U.S. while public officials and law-enforcement authorities fear drawing the link. (World Net Daily)

According to the Violent Crimes Institute in Atlanta, over 1/4 million illegal immigrate sex offenders line in the U.S. And daily, 93 sex offenders and 12 serial sexual offenders are entering the crossing the borders illegally.

"Many illegal aliens have a rape and pillage mentality toward America," he said. "The government has shown them they can break our laws on many levels without much fear of enforcement. Why should they think of rape or gang rape any differently? Illegal aliens are more likely to engage in these crimes because rapes and gang rapes are much more common in the gang-rule Third World areas they come from."

MS-13, also known as Mara Salvatrucha, a highly organized and well-funded Central American gang, is infiltrating at least 33 states across the U.S., according to law-enforcement authorities. The gang is well-known in Los Angeles, Houston, New York and Washington, D.C., for excessive brutality. Any person suspected of cooperating with authorities is hunted down, tortured and killed. Initiation rites include kickings, beatings and gang rapes.

Gheen said, "These gangs are forcing new female gang members to undergo gang rape to enter the gang and they are asking their male initiates to gang rape American women to become an official member of the gang."

MS-13 relies on metropolitan areas with highly concentrated populations of illegal aliens to boost its spreading membership. Chapters require that initiates perform random acts of violence, such as participating in gang rapes, to gain acceptance, confirm law-enforcement officials.

Three MS-13 gang members were charged in the brutal rapes of two deaf girls, one 14, the other 17, in a Massachusetts park in 2002. One victim, who also suffered from cerebral palsy, was pushed out of her wheelchair before being raped repeatedly.

Illegal alien rapists often maintain several aliases, making escaping justice easier. (World Net Daily)

Our borders need to be secured, and illegals need to dealt as criminals, since entering the U.S. is the first law they break. The terror they are causing is inexcusable. Amnesty to illegal immigrants should not be given. We need to contact our Congressional delegates in Washing D.C. and let them know that we know the facts. Election time is coming around.

Bill Maher is no friend of Christians. This past weekend, on his “Real Time” show, he attacks Christians as paranoid, they have infiltrated all areas of government, education, country music and blames them for the rise in cults that hate sex and believes in magic.

. . . “The Christian right are now the party of paranoia.” His solution: “If you’re going to be that paranoid all the time, just get high.”

Then, Maher really took the gloves off: “And the worst part is the people bitching loudest about being persecuted for their Christianity aren’t Christians at all. They’re demagogues and con-men and scolds, and the only thing they worship is power.”

He continued his rant: “If you believe Jesus ever had a good word for war, or torture, or tax cuts for the rich, or raping the earth, or refusing water for dying migrants, then you might as well believe bunnies lay painted eggs.”

And continued: “Now, I know George Bush says Jesus Chris changed his heart, but believe me, Dick Cheney changed it back. The only thing Bush has in common with Jesus is they both went into their father’s business and got crucified for it.” (NewsBusters.org)

The blinded liberal Maher concludes that if you can't beat them (the Muslims), then join them. What's the big deal?

Either he just does not have a clue, or he is part of the liberal propaganda machine.

Conspiracy theories about 9/11 have been able to grow in part because we haven't done a good enough job of keeping the facts before the American people and debunking the myths.

'Back to school' no longer stands out as September's main event to me …ever since 9/11.

It's hard to believe that September 11, 2006 marks five years since the devastating terrorist attacks on America. I for one believe it is extremely important to remember and recount what happened that day, so that we don't lose sight of the nature and goals of the enemy we face in this war on terror.

I've heard some say we need to 'move on', that we've 'remembered' enough. Others question if it's too soon to remember through movie images such as Flight 93 and World Trade Center. Still others, such as Bill Clinton try to censor accounts such as "The Path to 9/11" which airs this September 9th and 10th on ABC.

Five years later there are still those who believe and promote 9/11 conspiracy theories, such as Kevin Barrett who will teach a class on Islam at the University of Wisconsin this fall, despite the protests over 60 state legislators. He is a hero to conspiracy theorists.

The community of 'believers' who propagate their 9/11 conspiracy 'doctrine' over the internet and in articles and even books have even found their way to air their theories C-SPAN. As WorldNetDaily reports: some of the conspiracy theories that began almost immediately after the attacks of 9/11 include: "4,000 Jews had supposedly been warned to stay home from the World Trade Center that day; Flight 93 had been shot down over Pennsylvania by the U.S. military; George W. Bush's delay in ending his visit with elementary school students when told of the World Trade Center attacks signaled that perhaps he had prior knowledge of the events" ….that 9/11 events were an 'inside job.' Time magazine talks about Why 9/11 Conspiracy Theories Won't Go Away this week.

But, even though I've had numerous readers send me articles and links and DVDs with these conspiracy accounts, I'm not a 'believer.' There are too many accounts to the contrary, and common sense realities that they fail to answer, such as (just to name a few): If it wasn't an airplane that hit the Pentagon, what happened to the pilots and passengers who were on board that flight, including Author and founder of the Independent Women's Forum, Barbara Olson? What do they say to all those at the Pentagon who saw the airplane fly into the building, and those who were witnesses who escaped to tell about it, such as Lt. Col. Linda Herbert in her book, The Pentagon Miracle? who we've had on the show which will re-air on September 7th and September 13th.

My purpose here is not to argue these or other conspiracy theory points. My purpose is to simply point out that the truth about one of the most serious events in U.S. history, the terrorist attacks of 9/11, is under attack itself…and that some on the far-left and on the far-right are saying the same things…the same things our enemies are saying...who are the ones with the real ones with a conspiracy.

I'm not interested in speculations. I'm interested in hard facts…in the truth. And while I will probably receive unnumbered responses to what I've just said from conspiracy believers, what I've said needs to be said because it is estimated that 1/3 of Americans are starting to believe some of these conspiracy theories, proving once again what Nazi propaganda chief Joseph Goebbels said, "If the lie is big enough and told often enough, it will be believed." I'm glad the government has started to address these conspiracy theories and speculations. The sad thing is that there are some people who are more interested in believing what they believe than in knowing the truth.

September 11th, 2001 changed the world forever. Let's not let the enemy be victorious on the ground, in the air, or through propaganda tactics…even, and especially, within our own country.

Understanding Islam for Constructive and Noble Goals

The barbaric, horrific terrorist attacks on Tuesday, September 11, 2001 on the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon in Washington, DC have caused every American to ask why did it happen? Who did it? And why do they hate us?

The investigation of the CIA and FBI has concluded that the attackers were Muslims. Does that mean that every Muslim is a terrorist? By no means. There are many decent Muslims. But while many news commentators and politicians are proclaiming that Islam is a peace-loving religion, others are warning of Islamic Jihad, or Holy War.

These conflicting descriptions of Islam can be explained by examining the three types of Muslims: Secularists, Moderates, and Fundamentalists. The Koran, the holy book of Islam, is used by each group to justify their way of thinking.

THREE TYPES OF MUSLIMS

Secularists are Muslims who do not have a knowledge of the contents of the Koran and only know a verse or two to justify enjoying their life such as: "Wealth and children are the adornment of the life of this world" (Surat Al-Kahf 18:46).

Moderates know the Koran but seek to make their faith relevant to modern life. They try to reconcile the contradicting verses in the Koran in such a way that Muslims may tolerate Jews and Christians living among them. They emphasize the verses that came to the Prophet Muhammad when he was weak militarily and in need of the support of Jews and Christians. These verses which are kind to Jews and Christians are: "So, if you (Muhammad) are in doubt concerning that which We have revealed unto you then ask these who are reading the Book (the Torah and the Injeel [Gospel]) before you. Verily the truth has come to you from thy Lord. So be not of those who doubt" (Surat Yunus 10:94).
